Marbella online marketing

The most predictable thing about technology is that it will continue to be one of the fastest-growing industries, spilling new products into the market at a rate we could only dream of keeping up with. If you are running a business you need the help of Marbella online marketing to upgrade your business to the new age.

Some people make it their business to keep their finger on the technology pulse, however. Here’s a little glimpse into some of the technology advancements in 2017 and how they may shape our immediate and long-term future:

Automation will become widespread

For the last while, it’s been all about automation and we are to see more of the same in 2017, it seems. Tasks that were previously exclusive to human beings are now becoming more and more regularly outsourced to artificial intelligence.

This may affect marketing positively, but it might also mean that certain groups of people find themselves out of their regular jobs. For example, there is already a great deal of content out there written by non-human journalists, that’s right – robots. Those in the know will tell you that this is only the beginning, and that 2017 will be the year that automated articles become commonplace. It’s possible that these robot journalists will become busy worker’s allies, but at the rate that technology (and especially artificial intelligence) has been growing of late, it’s anybody’s guess whether they’ll eventually replace the human workers altogether.

For the time being marketers should probably jump on the bandwagon when it comes to understanding how automation and machine learning can help them. Ultimately, we all wish to increase productivity and free up some time for new projects or relaxation. Efficiency is key, so perhaps we should be embracing automation about now.

Digital convenience will be honed…

We are no strangers to smart devices these days and there is no doubt that we are attached to them in a big way; drop your iPhone down a toilet, and your heart automatically sinks with it. For many, our most treasured possessions are our laptops, tablets and phones. There are apps for pretty much everything you can think of.

This means that technology is given in our lives at this point, and that is clearly not going to change. We are addicted to the way that we can purchase something without moving from our seat on the bus, the ability to see the face of somebody we love on the other side of the world in real time, and to access information about the most obscure of topics at any moment.

What is coming next? More and more convenience, of course. One-click purchasing is already available but now we’re looking at things like dash buttons: you can order a tiny device with a button on it that allows you to purchase your favourite items instantly by just pressing it. Can anyone really be in that much of a hurry? Amazon seem to think so, and they won’t be the only ones.

…and gratification will continue to be instant

We can expect more and more digital features from 2017 onwards. We’ll barely need to lift a finger, as everything will be done at the click of a button. Everything is being uploaded onto the Internet these days, so all brands will eventually make all products easy to secure online.

We are becoming used to acquiring most things instantly; not only products but also services like cabs, takeaway deliveries, hotel rooms and more. The need for instant gratification is clearly not going anywhere any time soon.
Whether you deem technology trends to be positive or negative (or both), it can certainly help marketers to strategise and budget carefully. If it increases productivity, we aren’t complaining.
